Netflix and Base Entertainment have released the first teaser trailer for Kamila Andini and Ifa Isfansyah’s upcoming series Cigarette Girl (Gadis Kretek), which starts streaming on November 2. Based on the novel by Ratih Kumala, the period romantic drama revolves around a family that has become wealthy through producing Indonesia’s famed clove cigarettes. The son of the family is searching for a girl to fulfil his father’s dying wish.
